Tenerife diaries - the closeups

Két hete volt szerencsém elutazni az örök tavasz szigetére, Tenerifére. A trópusi, pálmafás hangulatot kedvelők biztos elsőre beleszeretnek a környezetbe, ahol átlagosan 25-30 fok van (télen-nyáron!), így hazatérve Magyarországon majdnem 10 fokkal melegebb idő fogadott minket. Tenerife a Kanári-szigetek 7 tagja közül talán a legzöldebb, lépten-nyomon fa nagyságú kaktuszokba botlik az ember és nagyon vonzó, hogy minden út és közterület szépen rendben van tarva. Arról, hogy mit érdemes Tenerifén megnézni, a következő bejegyzésemben szeretnék bővebben írni, addig is hoztam pár kedvcsináló képet a hangolódáshoz. :)

I was lucky enough to travel to the island of the eternal spring; Tenerife. If you like torpical, palm tree filled places, you'll probably fall in love with this island, where it's usually 25-30 celsius degrees (summer and winter!), so when we arrived back home in Hungary, it was almost 10 degrees warmer than on the Canary Islands. Tenerife is most likely the greenest of all 7 islands, where you'll find tree-like cacti everywhere and it's very attractive that all roads and public spaces are very neat. I want to write more on what is worth visiting on the island, but i'll save that for my next post. Until then, here are some pictures to get you in the mood. :)
