A Discover Budapest második bejegyzésében egy szuper jó, barátságos és otthonos kis reggelizőbe invitállak titeket. Amikor az első ilyen jellegű bejegyzést megosztottam instagrammon, Zsannu rám írt, hogy szívesen látna a munkahelyén, és mivel egy kis internetes kutakodás után nagyon szimpinek találtam a helyet, egyik nap benéztünk Ádámmal. Élőben sem csalódtam, és bár délután mentünk, nagyot dobbant a szívem, amikor kihozták a megrendelt reggelit. Ekkor tudtam, hogy jó döntés volt betérni :)
I invite you to a super friendly and cozy little breakfast/brunch place in the 2nd post of the Discover Budapest series. When i shared my first DB posts on instagram, Zsannu asked me if i want to visit her workplace and after a bit of internet research, we decided to go because i found the place to be adorable. I wasn't disappointed in real life either and even though we went on an afternoon, my heart started to beat fast when our breakfast food was layed out in front of us. I immidiately knew it was a bright idea to visit this place!
Én egy jegeskávét, Ádám smoothie-t rendelt. Isteni finom volt a tejszínhab, a kávémban ott úszkált a hatalmas fagyi gombóc, a turmix pedig éppen elég sűrű volt, ahhoz, hogy még kényelmesen lehessen szürcsölni a szívószállal.
I ordered ice coffe and Ádám went with a smoothie. The whipped cream was
perfect, my coffee had a huge ice cream in it, and the smoothie was just thick
enough to be sipped from a straw.
A kávé mellé mini amerikai palacsintát kértem, gyümölccsel, de a választható feltétek között találtok lekvárt, juharszirupot és tejszínhabot is. Alig tudtam választani, szívesen megkóstoltam volna a zabkását, de egy jó bundás kenyeret is rég ettem, a roppanós virslit pedig már csak a neve miatt megkívántam. Egyébként megéri menüben is rendelni, itt többek között rántottát, ham&eggs-et, péksütit és kuglófot kínálnak.
I asked for mini american pancakes to go with my coffee. I chose fruits as a topping, but you can also order some jam, maple syrup or whipped cream on top. It was so hard to choose, i would have gladly tasted the oatmeal, i haven't eaten french toast in a while and the crispy sausage makes me want to eat it only by the sound of it's name. Anyway, it's probably a good idea to order a menu where they offer scrambled eggs, ham&eggs, pastry and cake.
A pulton különböző sütikből lehet választani, Ádám is innen nézte ki ezt a süticsodát. Ami elsőre meglepett, hogy alkoholt is árulnak, így nem csak a reggelizni vágyók térhetnek be, délutáni csajos beszélgetés egy fröccs mellett simán belefér.
There are a few cakes to choose from which are layed out on the counter, this is where Ádám got this delicious piece. They are serving alcohol as well, which suprised me at first, but it means that wine spritzer on a girls day out is totally in the picture.
A Zoska-t két fiatal lány keltette életre, amit a berendezés is hűen tükröz. Helyes kis festett asztalok és székek mindenütt, kicsit vintage hangulatot idéző tányérok és poharak, az ablakban rengeteg párna, ahonnan kényelmesen lehet figyelni a járókelőket. Maga a pult nyitott így akár figyelemmel is kísérhetjük, hogyan készül a kedvenc házi jeges teánk vagy salátánk. Úgy érzem, hogy egy lassú szombat reggelen még biztosan be fogunk térni! Ha neked is egy jó hely kell, ahova meghívhatod a szüleidet, amikor nálad járnak a fővárosban vagy a barátnőddel/barátoddal szeretnéd megbeszélni a hét történéseit egy jó palacsinta mellett, nézzetek be, az Astoria közelében a Ferenczy István utcában találjátok! :)
Zoska was created by two young girls so the enterior screams youth accordingly. There are cute painted tables and chairs everywhere, the cutlery has a vintage vibe and the windows are filled with pillows where you can curl up and whatch the people go by. The counter is open so if you'd like, you can look at your favourite ice tea or salad being made. I have a feeling thatwe will be back on one of those slow Saturday mornings. If you need a place to invite your parents who are in town, or you just want to chat about your week with a friend over some pancakes, this is the place! (You'll find Zoska near Astoria in the Ferenczy István Street)
